Primeworld was set up in November 1989 to satisfy a demand from major UK Telecommunications companies to generate leading edge cost effective power converter designs for this fastest changing technological sector of the last decade.

Since that time, Primeworld has established itself as a highly respected analogue and power electronics company with specialist services and products directed primarily to the professional areas of the electronics industry, such as telecommunications, information technology, industrial equipment, as well as space and military sectors.

Primeworld's services  primarily focus on providing design, development and consultancy services for power conversion and processing products which include linear and switch mode ac/dc power supplies, dc/dc converters, miniature on-card converters, ring generators, battery low voltage protection units, power system supervisory units, and complete power systems which combine several of these modules.

Primeworld's main products are wound components used in power conversion and telecommunications circuits. These include axial and radial drum/rod core inductors, iron powder toroidal inductors, high frequency ferrite core buck regulator inductors, common mode inductors, power factor correction inductors, current sense and gate drive transformers, ISDN / line transformers, data line filters, and other custom designs made to order for cost effective second sourcing.
